“He is an exceptional player, he keeps the ball in little space
and has an incredible talent.
“The fact that things didn’t conclude with Liverpool and it
didn’t happen in that time-frame has peaked the interest of a
lot of other clubs, Real Madrid – but not just Real Madrid –
and their new trainer.
“There is a lot of interest from other camps, so everything is
possible.”

either of those players.
“He would need a lot of development.”

Gelson Martins wants his next club to cover any fee Sporting
Lisbon could demand for him breaking his contract.
That is according to Italian outlet Corriere dello Sport,
after the 23-year-old cited “just cause” after he and other
Sporting staff were attacked by fans.
Martins is aware Sporting might be awarded damages if the

competition.

Paul Pogba and Nemanja Matic.
The Brazilian, though, is not simply a defensive-minded

Mario Gotze wants to join Liverpool
from Borussia Dortmund to be reunited with Jurgen Klopp
5.20pm: Borussia Dortmund attacker Mario
Gotze’s preferred move this summer is to Liverpool.
German football expert Lee Price has told the Daily
Express: “Liverpool have emerged
as the favourites to sign Mario Gotze.
“One man [Klopp] has known and liked for a long time –
and has considered signing for Liverpool on two occasions – is
Mario Gotze.
“The German star is out of favour at Borussia Dortmund,
and wants to test himself in England, plus would command a
relatively modest fee in today’s hyperactive transfer
market.
“Most Premier League clubs would take the star, but
Liverpool would be his top choice, largely because of the Klopp
factor – who he worked with at Dortmund.
“Klopp thinks he can revitalise the player’s career,
unearth a bargain, and add strength in depth to his
squad.”
4.15pm: Arsenal have held positive talks with
the agent of Ever Banega.

Klopp’s side to the Champions League final.
Spanish outlet Dario Gol, known for their bold
transfer claims, say Real have made a huge proposal to the
Reds.
Los Blancos are prepared to pay £70m and include goalkeeper

Chelsea for Manchester United this summer, with Jose Mourinho

in the talented midfielder.
9.20am: Manchester United boss Jose
Mourinho is determined to sign Barcelona star Jordi Alba this
summer.
That’s according to reports in Spain that claim the Special One
is ready to fight Tottenham all the way for his signature.
Alba is a close friend of Lionel Messi though and it would take
a huge offer for Barcelona to let their left-back leave the Nou
Camp.
Spanish outlet Don Balon, known for
their outlandish transfer claims, say Mourinho has ordered
United bigwigs to snap up Alba.
The Red Devils are keen to bolster their ranks with left-back a
priority area for the Portuguese manager.
8.50am: Danny Welbeck has backed Jack Wilshere
to be a success after leaving Arsenal when his contract
expires.

for him to sign.
“But he’s decided it’s best for him to leave and he feels like
it’s come to a time where he’s made that decision and has to
move on.
“He’s got to be positive with it, grasp the opportunity with
two hands and keep improving and take himself to the next
level.”
